There are many factors that come into consideration when wages for LPN professionals are set. For example the Licensed Practical Nurse’s qualification, his/her professional experience level, his/her location and the area he/she works for are some of the aspects that come into consideration. Hence the salaries vary greatly from one LPN to another. According to The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ findings in May 2007, the average income of an LPN was somewhere near $39,000 per year. The actual salaries varied from as high as $52,000 per year for the top ten percent of LPNs to as low as $27,000 per year for the LPNs who were at the bottom of the wages range.
